Skincare Testing and Marketing Company Moves from Open Source VoIP to Hosted Unified Communications

Atlanta, GA (Vocus) February 19, 2010

Cypress Communications? adds another company to its already robust lineup of hosted unified communications customers. CuDerm Corporation, a skincare testing and marketing firm with employees who work onsite as well as remotely, transitioned from a well-known open source VoIP platform to Cypress' C4 IP? hosted unified communications solution. C4 IP was selected for its ease of use, cost advantages and expansive feature set.

"Our number one priority is to communicate effectively with our customers and vendors, and C4 IP helps us achieve that goal far better than our previous solution," said John DeRudder, vice president at CuDerm Corporation. "The open source platform we were using before C4 IP took a lot of time to manage and placed too much of a burden on our internal resources. We were sold on the idea of open source because of what we could supposedly do with it, but it proved to be too difficult. We had to hire a third-party contractor to set it up, and then we had to hire a consultant to come back in and fix issues with the original setup. Even after all of that, the quality of the service was average at best."

Ultimately, CuDerm opted to overhaul the way their employees connect and communicate. The company evaluated six providers and selected Cypress' C4 IP hosted unified communications solution.

"C4 IP is far superior to anything we used previously," DeRudder continued. "What stood out about C4 IP was the solution's ease of use and cost, as well as Cypress' reputation as a service provider. The hosted delivery model, where Cypress manages everything, was much more appealing than what we had before. There is immense value in being able to pick up the phone when we have a question or issue and knowing that Cypress will take care of it."

C4 IP comes complete with an array of capabilities, but the features that have the biggest impact on CuDerm's operations are the audio conferencing, unified messaging, call routing and soft phones.

"We now have the capabilities to hold conference calls and have people dial-in on an 800 number, which is much more professional than what we had before. The unified messaging feature is essential because it enables us to receive voicemails as email attachments that we can listen to from anywhere. Our sales personnel use the call routing feature, which is a huge time saver because they can route calls to multiple locations and devices. For our offsite employees, the soft client allows them to make and receive calls from their laptops and still be a part of the enterprise," DeRudder said.

Frank Grillo, executive vice president of marketing and customer support at Cypress Communications, added, "The prospect of open source technologies can be enticing, but the amount of technical expertise required, extensive capital investments and intricate integration creates complexities that can render them unfeasible for many of today's small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). As a hosted solution, C4 IP comes complete with all of the hardware and software required, along with a knowledgeable provider to manage the solution from the network to the phone on each desk. Companies like CuDerm can focus on their core competencies while we provide a top-notch communications experience."

Named for its ability to help SMEs connect, communicate, collaborate and continue?, C4 IP is a hosted VoIP and hosted unified communications solution that is managed from Cypress' private network cloud to the phone on each desk. It comes complete with voice and data connectivity, IP phones, soft phones, unified messaging and an array of advanced functionality such as chat, presence, file and desktop sharing, desktop video as well as audio, video and Web conferencing.

ClickZ Connected Marketing Awards 2010 Announced in San Francisco, August 17

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 17, 2010

Reebok, the National Hockey League, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra are among the winners of ClickZ Connected Marketing Awards 2010. The awards recognize brands and organizations that have embraced innovation and creativity to connect with their audiences - and drive results.

"Much conventional wisdom in marketing is being reconsidered. The key concept ushering in these changes is the notion of connectivity. Connected marketing is more about the change in consumer behavior than it is in the technology available to marketers," said Mike Grehan, VP and global content director for ClickZ, Search Engine Watch, and SES.

Winners were announced today as part of Connected Marketing Week, a week-long festival of digital marketing events, now taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Entries were judged on four criteria ? creativity, innovation, interactivity, and business outcomes. It was important to our judges that the campaign had a significant effect on the organization?s business.

?Marketers are clearly committed to tapping social networks, search, e-mail, and other marketing channels to connect with customers and prospects using creative and integrated techniques. Brands participating in ClickZ Connected Marketing Awards demonstrated that these efforts can bring solid business results regardless of their organization's size," said Anna Maria Virzi, ClickZ's executive editor.

The editorial teams of Incisive Media?s ClickZ and Search Engine Watch and the online publications' Experts columnists judged the awards. ClickZ's Caitlin Rossman coordinated the effort.

Internet Marketing Services with Karma Blueprints

Miami Beach, FL (Vocus) October 19, 2010

Karma Snack, a Miami based social medial agency is now introducing the Karma Blueprint; a structural plan for online marketing campaigns. Karma Snack specializes in advanced internet marketing services and digital media campaigns. The agency provides clients with complete online marketing campaigns which integrate PPC management, search engine optimization, email/newsletter marketing, affiliate marketing management, local SEO setup, and social media marketing, all built with branding in mind.

Running a business of any size takes a lot of work. A successful business of any kind today requires a website in order to be successful. The best solution for many business owners has been to hire Karma Snack to take care of all their online marketing. The new Karma Blueprints includes in-depth keyword research, demographic research, psycho-graphic analysis, behavioral analytics and predictive analysis of a client's industry.

As a web agency, Karma Snack is dedicated to generating results for a client?s online business in as little as 2 to 12 weeks for full scale marketing campaigns. Karma utilizes unique social media portals to drive in traffic. Simultaneously Karma Snack builds organic rankings to compliment the PPC lead and traffic generation. With the right sized marketing campaign, clients are able to see results much sooner than what traditional SEO companies are able to produce. The agency also has a dedicated web design and development team in house.

The Miami Beach based agency's individual marketing services such as SEO has already generated a tremendous amount of traffic for online businesses by helping them rank better for target keywords and increased their online return on investment. As part of the general internet marketing process, websites are modified to look exactly the same on every computer (W3 Validated), accessible to handicapped individuals, and are cross browser compatible. Karma Snack?s unique website architectural structure allows website to rank faster in search engines and drive in more targeted traffic. Combining custom site structure with custom funneling design produces a much higher conversion rate of visitor to lead ratio when compared to the template driven practices many SEO companies use.

Karma Snack has also put together a unique spin on web marketing, which has catapulted their clients? websites into more profitable online vehicles. The agency has designed websites of all kinds from e-commerce websites for shoes, Italian restaurants, online education portals, commercial loans, mixed martial arts and more. Most businesses recognize they need a professional online presence in order to compete locally as well as globally in the modern business world. The agency has recognized and responded to this new demand by designing a structural and profitable online marketing strategy that utilizes the new Karma Blueprints as the beginning step to a proper campaign.

Karma Snack has already changed Miami's attitude towards marketing. They've helped companies go from non-traceable traditional mediums such as radio, television and print to more accountable marketing initiatives based on strict data, leads, sales, accountability, and measurability.

Karma Snack has a great track record of using social media to generate buzz and excitement for their clients. In the past, the agency has used several forms of marketing such as guerrilla marketing, word of mouth, and viral SEO marketing to achieve results for their customers. With the more recent advancements made with Web 2.0 and other social media platforms, clients can see results faster, and measure their ROI with clarity in contrast to traditional mediums such as television, radio, and print. An integrated online marketing strategy with advanced website SEO has now replaced more established forms of marketing according to the latest studies.

The social media agency takes branding very seriously. Karma Snack recognizes? a company's brand is everything, and all marketing initiatives have to be in sync with a company's mission statement and most importantly the brand?s values. Karma Snack recognizes that each brand's goals are different as well, which is why each initiative?s digital marketing starting point is installed independently from one another.

Karma Snack categorizes websites into four distinct types: e-commerce, lead generation, branding, and informational websites. Karma Snack then customizes each client's marketing campaign around the specific initiatives and goals set previously during the market research phase.

E-Commerce websites are sites in which the main purpose of a visitor is to purchase directly. Karma Snack uses historical data to predict trends in client's niches and analyze the strengths and weaknesses in the competition?s current marketing strategy. Karma Snack delivers weekly reports to clients, monthly activity reports, and quarterly goals and strategies for all initiatives.

The agency?s lead generation based websites have the unique ability to turn targeted traffic into high quality leads that easily convert to sales. The uniqueness of Karma Snack's blueprints for lead generation rely in the advanced methods of analytical measurement, which has resulted in businesses averaging conversion rates between 17 and 35%. The agency analyzes the incoming data to ensure the quality of the lead rather than the volume is the focus of the campaign. This testing and re-testing process is repeated throughout the campaign as the lead filter is refined continuously for the life of the initiative.

Karma Snack?s branding websites are marketed with the goal of drawing more customers, increasing brand awareness and increasing brand equity. Social media plays a huge role in a brand's presence in the current online environment, but is mis-managed all too often. Karma Snack controls each brand's messaging throughout all major social media platforms as well as emerging platforms and consults with company management for a unified message across the board. The agency also utilizes web 2.0 platforms to increase a brand's search engine rankings, market share and overall brand equity.

Informative websites are marketed using an advanced analytical process, which is designed to generate revenue across many industries. Informative websites have more unique opportunities to create revenue not only from banner ads, contextual ads, and other traditional web marketing techniques, but can use more permission-based initiatives, which result in better brand loyalty and trust.

The advantage of the new Karma Blueprints is the predictive analysis technology which aids business owners by giving them data, which dictates how traffic from a lead generation form or an e-commerce sale will take place within a specific demographic. Businesses benefit from an in-house project management system called ?The Snackboard?, which they gain access to when they begin their campaigns. The Snackboard and weekly marketing meeting with Karma Snack's client relationship director allows for complete transparency and accountability of the marketing process.

Karma Snack's marketing team has over 20 years of combined experience and continues to achieve faster results for businesses, by focusing on business intelligence, data analysis and strong communication. Karma Snack's team is located in Arizona, Boca Raton, Broward, and Miami Florida, and continues to reach into Latin America following the success of their impact in Miami. Business owners can contact a marketing consultant to get their Karma Blueprint for their online business and start generating faster ROI from their website by visiting http://www.KarmaSnack.com, or calling Karma Snack direct at (541) 805-2762 or (305) 767-3630.

Customer Dish Adds Context Based Targeting to Text Marketing

Riverside, CA (PRWEB) June 15, 2011

In the same way analytics has come alongside search engine marketing to enable ad targeting and yield increased marketing ROI and improved user experience, Customer Dish has come alongside text marketing to provide analytics for offline, mobile customers.

Forrester reports that text messaging is the number one mobile activity across all types of cell phones with 73% of U.S. consumers considering their cell phone their ?most used device?. It follows then, that Financial Newsline reports 90% of all text messages are read within 3 minutes of receiving them; ultimately 98% are read within a few hours. These facts breed an obvious opportunity for customer facing businesses to engage their audience via text messaging. As a result, services have emerged that allow merchants to send bulk SMS messages to lists of subscribers they collect. These tools provide little or no ability for the merchant to segment their subscribers based on demographics or context in order to better target their mobile marketing initiatives and budget.

Customer Dish has taken the opportunity to expand text message interaction beyond push marketing and combined it with the merchants need to engage customers, receive feedback, and respond. The tool allows a merchant to have a branded conversation with each customer, in real time, as the customer interacts with their product or service. This customizable, automated interaction with real customers takes the place of staged mystery shopper or secret shopper programs of the past. Rather than infrequent visits from paid shoppers posing as customers, Customer Dish is powered by real customers having real experiences and giving real feedback. The data collected in this process serves to help the merchant make improvements, build their brand awareness, and better target their mobile marketing campaigns. More specifically, each customer comment, interactive survey, or outbound message response is populated with key demographic data and can be viewed, searched, forwarded, exported, or tagged. Any portion of this context about a customer can be used when segmenting the merchant?s subscriber list to target marketing and news campaigns. For example, on a slow Tuesday a restaurateur could send a last minute appetizer coupon to only those subscribers who have been in during happy hour, within the last month, are in nearby zip codes, and mentioned enjoying the spring rolls.

With bulk messaging tools now a dime-a-dozen, Customer Dish has taken the next step to capitalize on the device and tool most closely connected to U.S. consumers. In so doing, Customer Dish has taken bland push marketing and turned it into automated custom conversations using a tool as ubiquitous and personal as even the most basic cell phone. By building robust customer interactions, they?ve opened up mobile marketing to the same detailed targeting now common in many other marketing channels. To learn more please visit http://www.customerdish.com.

ABOUT Customer Dish:

Customer Dish is a SAAS tool that allows merchants to receive a real time view of how their customers are experiencing their brand. The tool is powered by a comment engine, custom surveys, and a mobile marketing module. Whether shopping for a new pair of shoes, enjoying lunch with a friend, or entering their hotel room on the first day of their dream vacation, Customer Dish provides a way to instantly know where a merchant is exceeding a customer?s expectations and where improvements can be made. Customers engage the process via text message. Text message is a widely used and comfortable way for customers to quickly comment and provide valuable survey responses. The real-time nature of text messaging also allows the merchant to address any issues promptly so customers always leave happy. Drawing from these customer interactions, the merchant is able to then use the mobile marketing module to send news and promotions directly to carefully segmented groups of loyal customers.

Customer Dish Launches Free SMS Survey and Marketing Plan

Riverside, CA (PRWEB) July 21, 2011

In the same way analytics has come alongside search engine marketing to enable ad targeting and yield increased marketing ROI and improved user experience, Customer Dish has come alongside text marketing to provide analytics for offline, mobile customers.

With the introduction of a free plan Customer Dish is creating a mutually beneficial onramp process for small and medium sized restaurants and retailers as well as universities, churches, and hotels. The Starter plan includes a monthly allotment of text message credits for all of the Customer Dish modules. Clients will be able to receive customer feedback via the comments engine, conduct custom SMS surveys, build a subscribers list, and send bulk text messages to subscribers. All for free. By allowing this hands-on investigation of the product Customer Dish gives clients confidence they are selecting the right tool for their business. Whether they continue to use the Starter plan or mature their campaigns into one of several paid subscription options, the merchant experiences full transparency and clarity of choice.

With the ever increasing popularity of messaging there is an obvious opportunity for customer facing businesses to engage their audience via text messages. As a result, services have emerged that allow merchants to send bulk SMS messages to lists of subscribers they collect. These tools provide little or no ability for the merchant to segment their subscribers based on demographics or context in order to better target their mobile marketing initiatives and budget. By offering free access to the entire suite of Customer Dish tools merchants are able to see how gaining context about a subscriber feeds into more targeted, effective mobile marketing and messaging.

Every bit of this can now be tried and tested for free, by anyone.
