On September 24th, the Make an Impact Foundation ? a 501(c) 3 tax exempt organization, will be donating up to $ 20,000 to one of three finalists in its inaugural ?Nominate a Project? campaign. The campaign encourages the community and the firm?s clients and business partners to nominate a project at a local charity that is both making an impact in the community and also needs the support to complete a specific project that will make an impact to the organization. In the inaugural year, the finalists of the award are Refugee Children?s Relief, Little Smiles, and an ADA compliant facility for a local resident with Down Syndrome. Although there is only one award, all three finalists will receive a donation on the night via a fund raising event on the houseboat Yachta Yachta Yachta on Lake Norman during the evening.
